Till now it remains to one of the oldest and at the same time smallest of national parks of Bulgaria. It is located to the north from the city of Varna. The park is at height of only 277 meters above sea level and consequently its flora strongly differs from other national parks of the country. Visitors of park have here a wonderful opportunity to see deers, wild boars, hares, red fiber, eagles, falcons, pheasants. The special attention is deserved with archeologic and historical sight of park - monastery Aladzha in which it was wonderfully kept wall painting.
The park involves set having a rest on the Black Sea coast - nearby to it silent resorts Varna and Gold Sand from which .парк and the Bulgarian name prevails are located. Owing to the beaches and the sea water these northern Black Sea resorts in 1996 have won the premium ” the Blue Flag ” To all other, this district is well-known for the medical sources.
